Subject: PARALYMPIC STAKEHOLDERS MEETING

A meeting of Paralympic Stakeholders is geared to sensitize the public of the movement. It will be addressed by Mr. Kenneth Mc Kell, President of the Trinidad and Tobago Paralympic Committee and the Caribbean Association of National Paralympic Committees(CANPC).

The goal of this initiative which is lead by the Grenada Olympic Committee Inc., is the eventual formation of the National Paralympic Committee.

The meeting will be attended by the Board of Directors of the Grenada Olympic Committee Inc. Stakeholders which includes; two (2) representative  of fifteen(15) National Associations/Federations, representatives from the  Ministry of Social Development , Ministry of Sports, School for Special Education, National Council for the Disabled, Herman ’Mello” Peters, Raphael Croney, Ms Ann Pierre  among others. 

(The Paralympics is governed by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), the global governing body of the Paralympic Movement. Its purpose is to organise the summer and winter Paralympic Games and act as the International Federation for nine sports, supervising and coordinating World Championships and other competitions.)
